Why us? We live and love Africa - the wilderness, the wildlife, the culture, people, and history. Born and bred in Kenya, Finlay is a professional safari guide, most content in the bush showing clients the wonders of the stunning continent he calls home. Based in Nairobi, Hannah has combined her background in high-end luxury hospitality with her love of safari and all things beautiful. As a team, we at Everwild Africa use a holistic approach to design safaris that perfectly suit our individual clients’ needs, down to the finest details. We offer privately guided safaris; where we, or one of our handpicked professional guides, accompany you, to entertain, inform and enhance every aspect of your journey.

As associates of The Original Ker & Downey Safaris “K&D”- a company celebrated as the world’s longest-existing safari outfitters – Everwild Africa has access to a wealth of knowledge built on 70 years of experience in the industry. With K&D we can take you far beyond the beaten track, to experience the traditional style of safari – mobile camping. Privately guided by Finlay or another exceptional guide and staffed by a fantastic team, our mobile camps are assembled in a remote location immediately prior to your arrival. Equipped with style, comfort and luxury in mind, you are provided with the most exclusive safari experience. Sit under the stars, taking  advantage of seasonal wildlife movements, genuine cultural  interactions and breathtaking landscapes. When you leave, the camp is removed without a trace.

The little details count as much as the big ones 

On top of photographing the ‘Big Five’, tracking elephants on foot or horse-riding among herds of zebra and giraffe, our clients can experience much more than close encounters with Africa’s biggest game. Wake to the symphony of the morning dawn birds calls, discover the secret nature of tree communication, and walk the footsteps of our ancestors with traditional Samburu warriors. Alongside K&D we have the knowledge and networks to open the doorway to the overwhelming and diverse beauty that is Africa, guiding you through with safety, comfort and elegance.

We are passionate about protecting and championing our home and its future - from the people we employ, to the social impact projects we support and the conservation organisations we work with.  Reducing our environmental footprint is of paramount importance - we make sure our safaris are carbon offset and are making steps to ensure our operations are as zero-waste as possible. Without compromising on luxury and style, our safaris have sustainability at heart.
